New Hampshire and Maine seacoast cities and towns all have distinct personalities....from the cosmopolitan flavor of Portsmouth NH ( sometimes described as a big city in a small space), to the hybrid island flavor of New Castle NH, to the rural craggy rock coast of Kittery Point ME, there is something for everyone seeking the benefits of a Southern New England lifestyle....

is a very special marriage of small islands, inlets, marshes, open ocean, and the Rachel Carson Preserve, which follows most of the privately owned homes on Gerrish Island, Cutts Island, and Goose Point. There are still " summer people" here, but again, a strong sense of community and a very popular place for artists ( visit the Kittery Association). Kittery Point is home to Ft. McClary and Ft. Foster, both open to the public. The town has a resident's beach at Seapoint, and stays small because of desire and strict zoning. Despite a wide range of prices, property is hard to find here, but worth the wait. Kittery Point lies exactly in between Portsmouth, NH and York Harbor, Maine.
